Discovery Green Family Shoot

This early morning family shoot last Saturday definitely wins the Cutest Mom Award. My November bride-to-be Ann decided to book a personal/family shoot for her mom as a birthday present. I had never met her mom before, but Ann told me that her mom really wanted to dazzle her friends. I had to do hardly any coaching because she was the most enthusiastic model! She new how to pose and angle her head. The whole time, Ann had to translate for us because her mom spoke mostly Vietnamese, but that didn't stop us, we got tons of fun pictures. After a bit, Ann's sister, daughter and cousin joined us and we turned it in to a mom and daughters' shoot.

We did it Ann. Awesome job. We didn't get rained on, and didn't sweat our faces off!

*First five minutes of the baby shoot. Ha! Wardrobe change!

Wedding season begins at Agave Real

Everything tends to comes to a halt in Texas during the 100 degree Summers. The heat is downright brutal, and can pose new challenges in the art of wedding photography, specifically, outdoor photography. If anything, it makes you plan your shots more carefully to avoid having your clients melt in the sun.

Chris and Marisa, who were my couple for this wedding at the Agave Real Estates last weekend handled the heat superbly, and were patient enough with me while I made them do outside shots. I promised them no regrets! Marisa was one of the absolute sweetest brides I've ever worked with. 100% sugar. It was a pleasure to work with her and her new hubby.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!
