City-lined Engagement Session

This couple is actually friends of mine! We met downtown off Allen Parkway and used the Houston skyline, and down along the bayou as our backdrop. The shoot finished under a canopy of trees and we made it back to our cars right when the rain started. Lucky!

Wedding Burlesque

Remember the engagement photos I did for Stephen and Jessica? Well they just officially tied the knot. I'll be posting some photos of the actual wedding, but I wanted to show some of the shots I got from the burlesque performance after the ceremony by the girls from the Houston Burlesque Revue after their ceremony. I absolutely love burlesque, and these girls knew how to do it right--a little bit of silly, and a lot of sexy.

I'm editing photos all day today, and couldn't be happier. Have the best day ever!

Instagram Slam

Good Morning!

First off, I have to say that I am so excited, because today marks the first day of our Farmhouse Delivery!! They are supposed to deliver us a bushel of fresh veggies today before 1pm. ...It's 8:35am and I'm already sitting on the couch, waiting to see the truck pull up outside. This is just too exciting for me.

OK, now to real business.

Criticism and all, I like Instagram. Being a photographer, it's usually a relief not to carry around an 8 pound camera, and then worry about uploading and post processing within a reasonable time frame. Instagram is instant and convenient, and I want to show you all of my favorite pictures that I've taken with it over the past year. They are random, but I think you'll like them!

Hallelujah, it's Friday. How is everyone doing today?  Do you have any special plans over the weekend?

I just wanted to drop a quick word, and post some product shots from my Etsy store, which is up and running again after a six month hiatus! It was fun, but now..back to business.
