Michelle & Gilbert Houston Heights Wedding

I know I say this a lot, but I don't know how I get so lucky as to have such down-to-earth clients. I am truly thankful for it. Michelle and Gilbert were no exception. Their wedding was a sparkly affair that took place in a grand ball room! The bride also had henna done on her hands and feet. Great for pictures!

What was also great about this romantic event is that ended with a soul train! Yes ma'am! These people had some impressive dance moves that I'm proud to of caught (see the last few photos). I feel like these don't happen very often, at least at the weddings I shoot, because it generally takes several very determined and coordinated folks to get it rolling. The best soul train I saw at a wedding ended with someone's grandma log-rolling down the runway with the groom. Good times.

Houston Height Wedding - Maria-Elisa & Chris

This relaxed and intimate wedding took place at the historical Heights Firehouse, which I was super excited about! It has an abundance of natural light, which of course makes my job easier, and is in general, a cool setting. They were a happy, easy family to work with, and the bride (Maria-Elisa) kept me laughing throughout the night. Thanks guys! Call me when you renew those vows!
